Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was the first to achieve a perfect 10 in an Olympic event. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian Gymnastics Coach discovered Comaneci as she was only six years old. First competing in the national junior championships in Romania in 1969, she was 13th. Then in the year 1970, she won. Her first competition in the international arena was in 1972, a pre-Olympic junior event for countries of the communist bloc she won three gold medals and in 1973 and 1974 she became an overall junior champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver in her senior debut international competition that took place in 1975. This was her first time she had competed as a senior. The first female to perform a reverse double salo with the uneven parallel bar when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. The story of Carol Wayne into the realm of entertainment began as a teenager. Along with her twin sister Nina Wayne, she joined traveling entertainment shows called Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on the 6th of September 1942 at Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career as an entertainer as a teen. At the age of a girl, she began performing as an ice skater with Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Ice Capades showcased performances of skating on ice performed by actors.
